We help you meet your legal obligations
As a landlord, you are responsible for the gas safety of your tenants. Every rental property with any sort of gas appliance — whether a boiler, hob, oven or fire — requires a Gas Safety Certificate, which can only be issued by a technician registered with the Gas Safe Register. All our engineers are Gas Safe registered, and our gas safety services are designed to help you meet your legal obligations and protect your tenants and property with as little fuss as possible.
A thorough assessment and inspection of your property and gas appliances involves checking:
- The appliances for gas tightness
- Standing and working pressure, where test points are available
- Burner pressure / gas rate against the manufacturer's data plate
- Satisfactory provision of all necessary ventilation
- Satisfactory operation of all safety devices
- Stability, presence and effectiveness of brackets (where appropriate)
In addition, our engineers will test the flue flow to ensure the removal of products of combustion, investigate any evidence of unsafe operation and report it to the landlord, and issue the landlord gas safety record.
